NORWICH—Tuesday was the primary election in Connecticut, where parties determine candidates in contested races before the November election, but with so few names on the ballot would voters come out to vote?For the Democratic primary, Stephanie Thomas and Maritza Bond were up for Secretary of State, and Eric Russell, Dita Bhargava and Karen DuBois-Walton were up for State Treasurer. For the Republican primary, Themis Kalrides, Leora Levy, and Peter Lumaj were up for U.S. Senator, and Dominic Rapini and Terrie Wood were up for Secretary of State.
