A meteorologist will leave his position to join the state's Division of Emergency Management and Homeland Security. CONNECTICUT — Meteorologist Josh Cingranelli will leave NBC CT after six years with the station. He will begin a new position with the Connecticut Division of Emergency Management and Homeland Security. He wrote on Facebook: "I would like to express my sincere gratitude to all of you who have tuned in to watch me deliver the weather forecast over the past six years at NBC Connecticut.
